Based on the Biblical story of faithfulness and devotion, “Song of Ruth” was performed by the BYU Women’s Chorus, just before the group’s current tour to Germany. In this rehearsal video, the chorus performs in the lobby of the newly constructed BYU Music Building. Enjoy this inspiring arrangement.

A lot has happened with BYU men’s basketball in the past few weeks—from signing new head coach Kevin Young and assistant coaches Brandon Dunson and Chris Burgess to recruiting players like Brody Kozlowski and Keba Keita and welcoming back Dallin Hall and Richie Saunders from their forays into the transfer portal. Friendly Olympic Competition

BYU grad marathoners Clayton Young (left) and Conner Mantz (right) qualified for this summer’s Paris Olympics back in February. A recent article in the New York Times reports that these two training partners and competitors say that “their faith puts their running in perspective: Like all athletes, they have faced injuries and setbacks, and can get sucked into the cutthroat nature of competition, even with each other. But, as Mr. Mantz put it, ‘we are very focused on the eternal.’” Read the article here.

Trusting Truths

BYU Women’s Conference, the largest gathering of Latter-day Saint women anywhere in the world, was held on campus May 1–3, with the theme “O Lord, I have trusted in thee, I and will trust in thee forever” (2 Ne. 4:34). The Relief Society general presidency opened the conference by teaching about covenant transformation, belonging, and rest. Watch President Camille N. Johnson’s conference message and enjoy a collection of quotes from several sessions by BYU employees and Church leaders.
